God! Logan Mailloux welcomed with open arms by Montreal Canadiens fans! Everyone inside. Help! It’s not like that, it’s your business! I am not exaggerating. When people learned that Mailloux was drafted by the Canadians and made the team, many cried genius, others celebrated, and some even applauded his “redemption.”
These words are not those of Journal de Montréal journalist Sophie Durocher. But they might have been. Here are the journalist’s actual words.

When “the people” learned that Maripierre Morin was returning to host a special edition of Aggressive Duo with former candidates airing on Crave next fall, “the people” went crazy, and other “people” climbed onto the curtains and even “the people” screamed. Bloody murder.
Sorry, but sometimes people are in the shot!
A section of the public explodes with anger when Maripierre Morin returns to host a special edition of Occupation Double, while Logan Mailloux, after much controversy, is reinstated without much opposition.
Mailloux was embroiled in a case of non-consensual sharing of intimate photos, which sparked controversy but was soon put to rest. Now fans see him as an angel.
Despite the extent of his action, Mailloux’s rejoining the Canadiens team was seen by many as a sign of his rehabilitation.
“But there are complainers who complain” Only for Maripier Morin, as Sophie Durocher puts it so well.
“For two years we’ve been asking: ‘Is it too soon to rehabilitate Maribye More?’ I’m starting to feel like I’m listening to a broken record!
“When we learned that Maripier Morin would play the lead role in Mariloup Wolfe’s Arlette, complainers cried. When she became a radio host on BLVD. Complainers cried. When she was called At other lunchtimes at the next table to France Castle, the complainants cried.”
“In this regard, I think there are some who complain very loudly on “social media” when Maripier Morin breathes or lives her family life.”
Sophie Durocher is perfect in every way. Maripier Morin deserves a second chance. And unlike Logan Mailloux, he’s not officially accused of anything.
She never faced justice. Safia Nolin did not file a complaint against Maripier Morin. As the journalist notes, she must continue to face the People’s Court.
However, Logan Mailloux, despite being punished for part of his actions, seems to have been easily forgiven by the public as he is a talented hockey player for the Montreal Canadiens.
The question arises: Should Maripier Morin have been a hockey star to receive a pardon?
Sophie Durocher didn’t stop there. She actually steps forward to defend Maripierre Morin, reminding us that if she had been a man or a Montreal Canadiens player, she would have been forgiven long ago. Above all, it reminds us how toxic social networks can be.
“I honestly think it’s time for us, the traditional media, to stop giving importance to what’s being said in these social ‘mertias’.”
“In the 24 Heures speech about Maripier Morin, we talk about Cococute2010 as an example of a very high and very good opinion. But what tells me that he has a reasonable and intelligent judgment that I should give any importance?”
It is important to recognize that every individual deserves a second chance after making amends, whether for recreation or sport.
The joy shown to Mailloux also applies to Maripier Morin, because recovery should not be a problem of business, but a problem of humanity.
Here’s what Chantal Machabi had to say about Mailloux recently.
“I said at the time that the Canadiens shouldn’t have drafted Logan Mailloux because he asked to be exempt from the draft, and I appreciate that. But if there’s one team that can fix the situation and come out of this on a positive note, I said in the same breath, it’s the Montreal Canadiens. said the vice president of communications at the Montreal Canadiens.
“That’s what The Canadian did. That’s what Jeff Molson and Frances Margaret Belanger did. Genevieve Paquette did an amazing job on this. They got Logan in charge and he asked to be involved. Redeem.”
“But seriously, I love this kid! He’s serious, he’s talented and he’s doing the right thing. He’s a very friendly young man, he speaks good French, and we feel he wants to do well.”
“He wants to make a difference. He learns from this and if he can help others not to repeat the same mistakes, that would be very positive.”
Quebec has pardoned Logan Mailloux. It’s about time he forgives Maripier Morin too. He proved that he deserves a second chance.
It’s time to forgive… outside of hockey…
