Ryanair chief criticizes idea to build airport in Radom

The businessman presented the carrier’s plans for next year. However, he admitted that the actions of the Polish government may slow down the development of Ryanair in Poland. According to O’Leary, the idea to build an airport in Radom is unsuccessful.

PPL does a pretty bad job when it comes to Modlin, but they will soon realize that there is no other way than to expand. We know it’s not about the money, because we’ve offered to fund the expansion of the station. But they soon change their mind – they will see that it is impossible to act when Chopin Airport And two models are completely clogged – he said.

Although Stanislav Wojtera, chairman of Przedsiębiorstwo Państwowe “Porty Lotnicze”, would like Ryanair to fly out of Radom, the Irish airline rules out such a solution. – We will never fly from Radom. Building an airport in the middle of nowhere is one of the most stupid ideas in the history of Poland, which is similar to the actions of the communists in the 50s of the last century. Instead of investing in Modlin, the Polish government is wasting taxpayer billions on building a palace from which no one will fly. Will Lott move to Radom? No. O’Leary said Ryanair had no intention of doing so either.
