Ultimately, according to the Interior Ministry, after two rounds, the leftist New People’s Front coalition (182 seats) won the largest number of seats. In second place came President Emmanuel Macron’s camp with 168 seats. The National Union, which had been leading in the opinion polls, came in only third place with 143 seats.
