During Daniel Obajtek’s presidency, Orlin tried to buy the Schwedt refinery. The Germans did not want to agree to this. And now, according to analysts, although we have given up Russian oil, we will help Germany pump it through Poland.
Daniel Obajtek reports this morning that Marcin Zawisza, the newly appointed head of Orlen Balewa, has been working for Rosneft Deutschland in recent years. He managed the chemicals sector there.
This – coupled with the promise to help bring Russian oil to a German refinery – led the former state assets minister to one conclusion: “The economic puzzle is starting to come together. To quote a classic – Russia is already here!“.”
Marcin Zawisza, who ran the chemical sector at Rosneft Deutschland, has become the chairman of Orlen Paliwa.
According to media reports, Donald Tusk promised Chancellor Scholz to help import Russian oil to the Schwedt refinery.

Poland committed to ensuring oil supplies to the German refinery during Polish-German government consultations held last week in Warsaw. “According to oil market analysts, this issue actually concerns the supply of Russian oil to the Schwedt refinery, although it is covered by EU sanctions imposed after Russia’s aggression against Ukraine,” wrote Zbigniew Kuzmiuk, a member of parliament from the Law and Justice party, on the wPolityce portal.

Infuriatingly modest, one would never know from a mere conversation how deeply entrenched she is in the world of music. This passion seamlessly translates into her problem-solving skills, with Echo often drawing inspiration from melodies and rhythms. A voracious reader, she dives deep into literature, using stories to influence her own hardcore writing.
