Pop-up FEQ: A touching moment with Marie-Annique Lepin

Festival-goers packed the small lounge at the Cercle de la Garnison de Québec on Saturday to attend Marie-Annique Lepin’s FEQ pop-up. The latter notably paid a touching tribute to his late cowboy fringe Carl Tremblay.

Along with three of her musicians and long-time friends, Catherine Durand, Daniel Lacoste and Mara Tremblay, Marie-Annique Lepin performed in front of around fifty people during her pop-up FEQ. His performance is Sunday at the Parc de la Francophonie.

With a touching title Another corridor, The widow of singer Carl Tremblay, who appeared on his last solo album and died on Nov. 15 after a long battle with cancer, brought many tears to fans of the Cowboys frontman.

“Rider, friend who guards the fort,” she sang passionately, explaining that the song was written when she learned her late partner was ill.
