‘Code’ for adults only? Kevin Feige confirms the film will get an R rating
If you were worried that Marvel was going to turn “Blade” into a family-friendly spectacle, you can relax. Kevin Feige has confirmed that the film will be for adults only.

Kevin Feige Confirms: ‘Blade’ Is Rated R

Kevin Feige was a guest on BlackTreeTV — a YouTube channel affiliated with The Hollywood Post. During the interview, he was asked about the status of “Blade,” specifically the age range for which it will be released in theaters. If you were expecting a bloody scene, we have good news: The Marvel Studios boss has confirmed that “Blade” will receive an R rating.

We’ve been trying to figure out Blade for the past few years. – He said. The most important thing for us is to take our time and make sure we do it right — because there have been great Blade movies made over the years. They’ve all been R-rated. And I think that, like with ‘Deadpool,’ is an inherent element of ‘Blade.’

What do we know about the new “country”?

“Blade” was announced at San Diego Comic Con in 2019. A lot has changed since then. Five screenwriters have worked on subsequent versions of the script: Stacey Osei-Kuffour, Michael Starbury, Bo DiMaio, Michael Green, and Nic Pizzolatto. Only the sixth, Eric Pearson (“Thor: Ragnarok,” “Black Widow”), has reportedly recently delivered a script that’s fit for Marvel.

Two directors have already left the project – Bassam Tariq and Yann Demange. A replacement has yet to be found, and it seems that his arrival on set is approaching. According to reports, filming is scheduled to begin on November 1. The premiere is scheduled for November 7, 2025.

“Blade – The Eternal Hunter” in Shortcuts

We remind you of the episode of the Shortcuts program in which Michal Walkiewicz talks about the movie “Blade – The Eternal Hunter”. Wesley Snipes played the main role in the movie Stephen Norrington.

Blade is half-human, half-vampire. He perfects his deadly skills under the tutelage of Whistler (Kris Kristofferson), his master, mentor, and night-hunting companion. When the bloodthirsty ruler of the Immortals, Deacon Frost (Stephen Dorff), declares war on humanity, Blade becomes their last hope.
