The Olympics had not yet begun until many medals had already been awarded. The Australians had already won five medals, ahead of the Chinese, who had won three.
Poland, whose medal tally is currently empty, will have to wait for their successes. Even Fiji, who celebrated a silver medal in the rugby sevens on Saturday, outclassed the Red and Whites. However, there is no need to despair. The Poles’ greatest medal chances are still ahead.

2024 Games: Medals for whom? Classification?
The Kazakhs were the first to ascend the podium, and it happened on Saturday morning. “The first medal of Paris 2024 has been awarded. It is a bronze for Kazakhstan! Third place in the 10m air rifle mixed team! The country’s first Olympic medal in shooting since Atlanta in 1996.” – we read.
In Paris, the Whites and Reds want to improve on their results in Tokyo, where they won a total of 14 medals: four gold, five silver and five bronze. Now we are counting a lot on Iga Świątek, and high expectations are associated with the climb, where we are represented by Aleksandra Mirosław and Aleksandra Kałucka. Traditionally, we pin our hopes on track and field athletes, including: Anita Wlodarczyk, Wojciech Nowicki, Natalia Kaczmarek and in the national volleyball team.
The Games officially start on July 26 and run until August 11. In Paris, competitions are held in 32 disciplines, one of which is making its debut – breakdancing. Poland is represented by 210 athletes.
