Radio station 99.5 Montreal announced on its social networks Thursday evening that it “will no longer exist in its current form” next fall.

He explains, however, that he will maintain his music offering on web radio, the WKND app and soon “on HD2 status 99.5” in Montreal.
In his publication, WKND 99.5 Thanks to its listeners and “hosts who have made the station shine in recent years”.
“99.5 prepares for a new adventure, stay tuned,” explains the radio station.
A young station
The popular music radio station launched in the summer of 2020 after the acquisition of the Radio-Classic Montreal station by family business Leclerc Communication Inc. The latter was at that time already the owner of some radio stations in Quebec WKND 91.9 and BLVD 102.1.
