For Marvel Studios
One of the most talked about moments in Deadpool & Wolverine was when Goofy Merc watched a scene at TVA headquarters where a tearful Thor was holding a seriously injured Deadpool in his arms. This was a reference to Thor: The Dark World, where the God of Thunder cried over Loki in the original scene. It’s likely just a joke or leftovers from one of the early concepts for the film, which was supposed to be a parody of Thor’s second adventure with Deadpool. In an interview, Ryan Reynolds confirmed that there’s more to this scene and fans can expect it to have more meaning.
Deadpool jokes about Thor
Mouthful is almost impossible to kill due to his healing ability. Although the scene suggests that Deadpool actually dies, it may turn out that this is just a joke played by the hero on Thor. During the fight, Mouthful could be seriously injured, and Odinson was unaware of his ability to self-regenerate. So Deadpool will use this moment to tease his friend. The clue may be the lack of seriousness of the main character, who smiles and even silences a sad member of the Avengers.
Deadpool really dies
However, it cannot be ruled out that Deadpool is actually dead. His injuries may be so severe that even self-regeneration won’t help or the hero has lost this ability. The hero will likely appear in Avengers: Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars, where he will meet other characters from the MCU. One of them may be Thor, with whom the sleazy mercenary will build a relationship. The scene seen in Deadpool & Wolverine could be one of the most emotional moments in the upcoming Avengers movie. After all, the Mouthful Mercenary has something of Loki in him and the similar nature of both characters may remind Thor of his brother, which is why he will become closer to Deadpool.
Deadpool will tell Thor that Loki is alive.
What if Thor wasn’t mourning Deadpool at all, but knew that Loki was alive? The God of Thunder lost his brother at the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War. From that moment on, Thor became a completely different person, still weighed down by the deaths of his loved ones. In an emotional scene, the mercenary could reveal to the hero that Loki isn’t dead. This would make sense, considering that Deadpool is well aware of the events taking place in the MCU. He should have known about the different types of Loki and that one of them sacrificed himself to preserve the sacred timeline. Thor could figure this out and realize that even though his brother is alive, he’ll never see him again.
Mr. Paradox was simply trying to manipulate Deadpool.
All of these theories point to this scene actually happening, but what if it was just clever manipulation by the TVA? This powerful organization has the resources to create and destroy worlds, and Mr. Paradox is not averse to bending the rules to his advantage. He has great ambitions to expand his influence within the TVA and is capable of lying, cheating, and blackmailing. Paradox could have carefully planned this moment and manipulated Deadpool to do his bidding. The villain could have used one of the Saucy Mercenary variants that had previously entered the Void for this scene, or used other TVA technology to create these shots.
Deadpool is the last to die, leaving Thor alone to face a greater threat.
The latest theories suggest that the superheroes will face a powerful threat that will defeat the Avengers. Only Thor and Deadpool will remain on the battlefield, but the latter character will also succumb to his opponent’s strength. Since Thor is a god, he is more durable than the rest of the heroes. Therefore, Odinson was the one who could resist the powerful opponent for the longest time. The opponent can also manipulate Deadpool, always keeping him on the brink of death. After a while, that will be enough to make the helpless Thor mourn the mouthy mercenary.
Deadpool and Wolverine The film is being shown in cinemas all over Poland.
