Attorney Stephen Bertolino said the family went camping on September 6 and 8. The three had to leave the park together.
The attorney’s confirmation came a day after Duane Chapman, a TV personality and bounty hunter, said he believed Laundry might have been hiding with the help of his parents in Fort De Soto Park.
Only the 23-year-old’s parents left the park, Chapman says. On the other hand, Brian Laundry may still be hiding out at Fort de Soto. The bounty hunter found a video from a security camera showing only two people leaving the park.
Laundry, 23, is a suspect in the case of missing Gabe Pettito, whose body was found September 19 in Wyoming. The couple traveled together throughout the United States.
Preliminary autopsy results show that Gabe Pettito was the victim of a murder.
On September 1, Laundry returned home alone in Florida. Last seen on September 14th. Three days later, his parents reported the 23-year-old’s disappearance.
A Wyoming District Court has issued a federal arrest warrant for Brian Laundry. The police and the FBI continue to search for the man.
The arrest warrant included charges that Brian Laundry had committed credit card fraud by Gabe Pettito between August 30 and September 1, 2021.
