Prior to the album’s release, Ed Sheeran tested positive for Covit-19

British music star Ed Sheeran announced on Sunday that he had tested positive for COVID-19, less than a week before the much-anticipated release of his new album.

“I unfortunately tested positive for COVID, so a quick word to tell you that I isolate myself,” the composer and artist of the worldwide hit “Shape of You” (2017) wrote on his Instagram account.

“So I can’t fulfill my duties in person at this time, and I’m going to make more use of scheduled interviews and shows from home,” the 30-year-old singer, who lives in Suffolk, continued. In the East, from England.
