A 14-year-old boy who went missing during a cruise in the Baltic Sea has been found.

Since the first days of July, there has been much talk in the British and German media about the disappearance of 14-year-old Aidan Brown. For several days, the boy and his grandmother participated in one of the cruises organized by the Caribbean Princess. During the voyage the ship passed through the largest ports of the Baltic Sea.

The cruise went smoothly until Thursday 4th July, when you wanted to depart from the port of Rostock-Warnemünde. Ship services were informed that 14-year-old Aydin had not returned from the city. From that moment on, German services participated in the search for the boy.

According to initial reports, Aiden Brown was seen around 7 a.m. He was leaving the Caribbean Princess cruise ship while talking to an unknown man.A moment later, the cameras in the church square in Warnemünde spotted him. From that moment on, all trace of the boy disappeared.

Successful search for a teenager in Germany

On the same day, the American’s grandmother left the ship and the search operation began in cooperation with the German police. Fortunately, services were able to find the boy, who was reunited with his family safe and sound on Saturday, June 6. The tour organizer expressed his gratitude for finding the boy.

We are glad that Aiden Brown has been found safe and sound. […] “We are deeply grateful to the German authorities for their rapid response and exceptional efforts to locate Aydin after he came ashore in Warnemünde last Thursday morning,” Princess Cruises said in a statement on Saturday.
