As photographed for the film Fantastic Four He was taken to real locations outside the closed studio, and the first image of Ben Grimm, aka The Thing, was posted online. Up until now, everyone expected the character to be CGI-generated in an MCU movie, because it seemed so obvious. But The image from the set shows that the character has been practically realized, which likely means it will be makeup.In the photo we see how makeup is applied to the actor’s head and face. Most people on social media, including pop culture journalists from the biggest portals, enthusiastically accepted the information that the actor would appear in makeup. No one was surprised because everyone assumed that the character would be created using CGI.
In turn, the well-known scoop (a person who uncovers leaks) Daniel Richtman, whose reports are often correct, claims that we see in the image a double who is supposed to be the counterpart of the creature on the set. During post-production, it will be replaced with computer effects. So far, no one else has commented on what exactly we see in the image. Most of the beneficiaries welcomed the opportunity to create the characters in a practical way. At this point, Richtman is the only person who claims that the creature in the film will eventually be achieved using CGI.
