Before the start of the training camp, three players were excluded from the Polish national team, including Matej Kas. PZPN spokesman Jakub Kwiatkowski explained that the defender had been complaining of shoulder problems for a long time.
Maybe Michel Proppers will talk about bad luck ahead of the November matches. On Sunday evening, it became clear that the coach would not be able to rely on Matty Cash, Adrian Benedezzak and Patryk Dzicek, who were originally called up.
Unfortunately, the coach had to change his plans after the last league matches leading up to the national team’s training camp. Tymoteusz Puchacz, Mateusz Łęgowski and the first arrival – Karol Struski, benefited from the misfortune of injured players.
What affected the absence of the three previously mentioned employees? In an interview with WP SportoweFakty, Jakub Kwiatkowski provided detailed information.
– Benediczak has a problem with the rectus femoris muscle, and Dzicek has a problem with his thigh. Matty Cash simply dislocates his shoulder. He’s been having trouble with this for several days. This is an injury that will not be able to train at all for at least four days, so there is no point in him coming because we play a match on Friday – commented the PZPN spokesman.

Although Cash played 90 minutes in Sunday’s match between Aston Villa and Fulham (3-1), at some point he grabbed his shoulder. During the international break, the right-back will undergo rehabilitation.
It seems that the limit of bad luck has already been exhausted. As Jakub Kwiatkowski told us, the rest of the national team players will likely be available for the upcoming qualifying match against the Czech national team.
-We are in touch with every player, so on Sunday we waited until late in the day until all the matches were over so that all these issues could be collected in one message. The rest of the players should come to training camp, but we have no indication that there will be any problems. Of course, we know that there is an increase in the number of players after the league, and some minor injuries. He pointed out that these are not situations that would threaten the performance on Friday.
The Euro 2024 qualifying match between Poland and the Czech Republic is scheduled to be held on Friday 20:45 at PGE Narodowy. Four days later, there will be a friendly match between the Polish national team and the Latvian national team.
