250 of the best young astronomers, high school students from 50 countries participated in the XVI International Olympiad in Astronomy and Astrophysics from August 10 to 20 in Chorzow and Katowice. Among the gold medalists are Pole – Maximilian and Doyars – Bielski from Krakow.
The final of the International Olympiad in Astronomy and Astrophysics took place on Saturday. At the International Congress Center in Katowice, 27 gold, 41 silver and 50 bronze medals were awarded. 29 distinctions were also awarded. – Congratulations to all the winners.
