Euronet has reduced the one-time withdrawal limit to PLN 200 for customers of all banks in Poland for one day. For many of you, this involved additional costs. Since neither we nor you had any influence on this situation, we have decided to return all fees collected (…) for cash withdrawals at the devices of this network – we read in a statement from mBank.

Euronet’s protest was taken up by the Competition and Consumer Bureau. Explanatory procedures have begun.

However, it is crucial for us to establish relationships between market participants, including a mechanism for sharing ATM cash withdrawal transaction fees.
