Only geniuses can solve this puzzle

Today's puzzle has been circulating on the Internet for several days. During this time, it has managed to divide netizens who argue about the correct answer. The task is to indicate the result that represents the answer to the equation 14×14.

At first glance, the puzzle seems very simple. However, it is a bit more complicated and a well-known mathematical formula is required to solve it. That's the problem – not everyone remembers it from school.

The idea is the two previous equations, i.e. 12×12 and 13×13. Without knowing the appropriate formula that was used in these two cases, it is impossible to get the correct answer. Do you know what this style is?

To solve the equation, use the formula: a b x a b = (a+b) x (a+b). When we apply this formula, we get results of 9 and 13 for the first two equations. that it:

12 x 12 = (1+2) x (1+2) = 3 x 3 = 9

13 x 13 = (1+3) x (1+3) = 4 x 4 = 16

The result of the equation is 25

Using this formula, it is easy to calculate the third equation. So 14 x 14 = (1+4) x (1+4) = 5 x 5 = 25
