The third week of ARiMR payments to farmers for direct subsidies and LFA payments ends. Many farmers have already received money from subsidies or district payments, but many are still waiting for transfers from the agency. The hosts will almost certainly not receive payments to environmental schemes in November.
Data published by ARiMR shows that from November 16 to November 3 this year. Farmers received more than PLN 4.47 billion in advance. Of this amount, PLN 3.89 billion are advance payments as part of direct payments and reached more than 884,000 farmers. In contrast, 580 million Polish zlotys went to 470,000. Let us remember that in this year’s campaign, farmers submitted 1.24 million applications for direct payments, and the total funds allocated for their implementation amount to approximately PLN 17 billion. Therefore, ARiMR still has to pay approximately PLN 13 billion.
However, payments for the environmental “Animal Welfare” program are not made until December 1st.
The advances will continue to be repaid until November 30 of this year. Then, on December 1, ARiMR will begin paying the remaining portion Direct payments, area payments and environmental schemes.

What about environmental plans?
We are still awaiting regulations on proposed payment rates for environmental schemes. They don’t know yet and everything indicates that it will not be disbursed as part of the down payment, but only as part of the remaining support from December 1 this year.

We remind you that according to the proposed support rates provided by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, farmers can count on the following support for the year 2023:
- Basic income support for sustainability purposes (basic income support) – PLN 502.35 per hectare
- Supplementary income support for redistribution for sustainability purposes (redistribution payments) – PLN 180.96/ha
- Supplementary income support for young farmers (payment to young farmers) – PLN 280.33 per hectare
- Payment for livestock – 343.46 PLN per piece.
- Payment for cows – PLN 439.41 per piece.
- Payment for sheep – PLN 116.44 per piece.
- Payment for goats – 47.84 PLN / piece.
- Payment for legumes for seeds – PLN 823.91 per hectare
- Payment to feed mills – PLN 471.53 per hectare
- Payment for hops – 1,985.54 PLN / ha
- Payment for starchy potatoes – PLN 1,501.05 per hectare
- Payment for sugar beets – PLN 1391.96 per hectare
- Payment for tomatoes – 2047.34 PLN per hectare
