June did not start well for Alior Bank customers. Due to the failure of online and mobile banking, accessing their bank accounts is difficult. The first signs of failure appeared around 11.00 on Monday 3 June.
We learned about problems with the bank’s transaction system thanks to an alert sent by a Bankier.pl reader: “It seems that access to e-banking at Alior (via browser and app) has stopped working.”
Messages with similar content can also be found on the bank’s social media profile. The first comments about the failure began to appear on Facebook at 11.00 under the bank’s last post. In response to one of them, a representative of Alior Bank confirmed the difficulties and reported on the ongoing work to eliminate them.
Reports from Downdetector also seem to confirm the broader scope of the problem.
Shortly after 12 noon, the bank confirmed concerns from customers, reporting the failure in a Facebook post. The bank also confirmed reports of a communication failure with Bankier.pl. Work is ongoing to restore the full operation of online banking. At the same time, the bank confirmed that transactions can be made with the card without any problems.
Echo Richards embodies a personality that is a delightful contradiction: a humble musicaholic who never brags about her expansive knowledge of both classic and contemporary tunes. Infuriatingly modest, one would never know from a mere conversation how deeply entrenched she is in the world of music. This passion seamlessly translates into her problem-solving skills, with Echo often drawing inspiration from melodies and rhythms. A voracious reader, she dives deep into literature, using stories to influence her own hardcore writing. Her spirited advocacy for alcohol isn’t about mere indulgence, but about celebrating life’s poignant moments.
