What do we know about the “Fifth Generation” series?
“Generation V” takes place at a college for young superheroes run by Vought International. His students will test their physical and moral limits as they compete for the best contracts. The heroes are representatives of the first generation of superhumans who know that their powers are the result of being given an experimental drug, and not a gift from God as everyone was told before.
The series stars Jaz Sinclair (“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”), Shelley Cohn (“Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, “Bridgertons”), Maddie Phillips (“Teenage Bounty Hunters”), London Thor (“Lady Bird”), Derek Loh (“Runaways”), Patrick Schwarzenegger (“Staircase”), Sean Patrick Thomas (“Hip-Hop,” “The Tragedy of Macbeth”), Marco Pigosi (“Tidelands”) and Asa German.
The series is a spin-off “Boys”. This adaptation of the “Boys” comic book series is an irreverent look at what happens to superheroes when they become as famous as celebrities, as influential as politicians, as sacred as gods, and when they abuse their powers instead of using them to achieve goals. True. Purpose. Powerlessness will face superpower as the boys embark on a heroic journey to uncover the truth about the Vought-backed Seven.
