Are AMD Radeon Graphics Finally Worth Buying? The latest series of chips from Reds can really spoil the market. In the first tests, the AMD flagship outperformed NVIDIA’s top model.

A moment ago, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti chip, the flagship model of the Ampere family, appeared on the market for the first time. But The next premiere of new graphics cards is fast approaching. This time it’s time for AMD’s suggestions, more specifically the updated Radeon RX 6×50 XT models.

The test bench consists of an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor and DDR4 3600MHz memory. It worked under the control of Windows 10 and 22.10-220411n graphics drivers.

To the surprise of many enthusiasts of new technologies, AMD came out victorious this time. With 1440p resolution and Time Spy tested, the Radeon RX 6950 XT delivers 6.5% better performance than the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti. Only a heavily overclocked Greens card (2.2 GHz for the core and 23.5 GHz for VRAM) allows to exceed Reds by only 1%.

We also have good news for people who are targeting slightly cheaper graphics cards. The AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT is faster than the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, while the RX 6650 XT beats the GeForce RTX 3060 in 3DMark.

However, it is worth holding off with the final evaluations until the premiere, i.e. May 10, 2022. First of all, real performance in games and software can differ from benchmarks. Secondly, all leaks of this type should always be treated with a certain amount of caution.
