AMD at the very beginning of the life of the Zen 4 microarchitecture did not decide to release systems ending in “X3D”, that is, using 3D V-Cache packaging technology. So far, only one processor has appeared – the Ryzen 7 5800X3D – using the Zen 3 architecture. There has been various information about the Ryzen 7000X3D processors over the past few weeks, but the latest one is more optimistic. The new systems are scheduled to be introduced next month.
According to the latest information, AMD will show Ryzen 7000X3D processors with 16, 12 and 8 Zen 4 cores in January.
AMD officially cuts prices for Ryzen 9 7950X, Ryzen 9 7900X, Ryzen 7 7700X, and Ryzen 5 7600X processors
On the QuazarZone portal (the same one where the results of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition were published after UV radiation and at a reduced power limit a few days ago) very interesting information about AMD Ryzen 7000X3D processors appeared. The original script has since been deleted, but all of the main news was captured by Twitter user @harukaze5719. It turns out that AMD has plans to introduce three Zen 4 processors with 3D V-Cache, and the announcement itself will happen during CES 2023. This isn’t the first time this conference has been mentioned, so it looks like a much-anticipated presentation is indeed coming. The company plans to introduce Zen 4 systems with 16, 12, and 8 cores. This is a significant change from previous rumors, which only spoke of 6- and 8-core SKUs. Thus, we expect the following models: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D (16/32), AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D (12/24), AMD Ryzen 7 7700X3D, or Ryzen 7 7800X3D (8/16, in this case the final name has not been confirmed).

AMD Dragon Range – The best Ryzen 7045 processors for laptops are offering RDNA 3 graphics
All AMD Ryzen 7000X3D processors should offer a base TDP of 170W, but unlike the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, clocks should remain at a level very similar to current models of the Ryzen 9 and Ryzen 7 series (slightly lower clock speeds is possible). Keeping the clocks close results in similar performance in all applications where the extra L3 cache stack has no performance impact. If AMD decided to expand the L3 cache similarly to the previous Ryzen 7 5800X3D model, the Ryzen 9 7950X3D and Ryzen 9 7900X3D systems would have a total of 192MB L3, while the Ryzen 7 7700X3D (or R7 7800X3D) would offer 96MB L3. QuazarZone also published three graphs of the expected performance of the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D processor in combination with DDR5 6000MHz memory. If these shows are confirmed, we will be dealing with a really very effective gaming system. Everything indicates that we will see in a month’s time if the information about the specifications and potential performance of the Ryzen 7000X3D systems is correct.
They shared 3 exclusive information for Zen 4 3D.
1) Three Ryzen 7000X3D models confirmed. 16/12/8C. But about the 8C model, the model name is not specified either 7700X3D or 7800X3D
2) Unlike Zen 3 3D, the clock speed will be the same or at least almost the same.
3) January 23 is expected. Saturday CES.

From this point on, these guesses are based on exclusive information.
R7 5800X is fixed at 4.4G, so it can only account for the 3D cache difference.
Applies equally to Ryzen 7000 series based on 5800X – 5800X3D performance improvements
