Everything indicates that the company will keep its word. The test results are optimistic.

As a reminder: The performance of the new AMD Ryzen 9000 series processors (based on the Zen 5 architecture) did not match what the company announced before their premiere. Therefore, the company decided to clarify its position. The discrepancies in the test results were said to be due to the reviewer units not using the improved branch prediction technology. Therefore, AMD is working with Microsoft to provide the feature in the next major update to Windows 11 called 24H2. However, Windows Insider participants can now use it before the official premiere. Interestingly, the update was supposed to bring a performance boost to processors based on the Zen 3 and Zen 4 architectures as well.

According to the tests, the results of which were presented on the YouTube platform on the Hardware Unboxed channel, one of the representatives of the AMD Ryzen 9000 series, namely the AMD Ryzen 7 9700X, recorded an increase in performance of 11% (average) in games at 1080p resolution. The AMD Ryzen 7 7700X (AMD Ryzen 7000 series, Zen 4 architecture) also took part in the tests, and its performance increased by 10% in the same scenario.
