Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will finally get upgrades on PS4 and PS5. Ubisoft confirmed the good news

More than two years after its release, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will receive an upgrade for the PlayStation 4 version, thanks to which the game will run much better on PlayStation 5. The developers have finally managed to eliminate a known problem.

The PlayStation 5 offers almost complete backwards compatibility with the PlayStation 4, but Sony has confirmed a list of several games that had some issues on the PS5. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate made the list – even the game on current-gen consoles has been described as a “visual mess.”

While playing the 2015 production, players may notice flickering of textures, disappearing elements or strange refraction of shadows. The developers have been dealing with the problem for a long time, but have just confirmed the positive news.

“We are excited to announce that Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will receive an update tomorrow, February 23rd on PlayStation 4. This patch will fix the flickering issue when playing on PlayStation 5. #AssassinsCreed.”

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has not yet received full support for consoles of the current generation, and the London production group will probably never receive the appropriate patch, but as you can see, the developers found time to get rid of the inconvenience.

It should be noted that Assassin’s Creed Mirage is scheduled to premiere in 2023, but we still don’t know the final release date for the adventure.
