When analyzing the construction of the heat sink, we can easily notice the most important differences. In the Noctua version, the number of heatpipes has been increased by 8 mm and arranged in a different way. The Austrians also boast the use of a steam chamber that is not present in the TUF Gaming version. The changes implemented allow heat to be removed more effectively from key spaces, which translates to a better work culture. Two 120mm fans (NF-A12x25) are responsible for keeping the temperature down.

The graphs show the test results for both models. Despite the huge difference in fan speed, the temperature of the graphics chips was almost identical. Moreover, the ASUS GeForce RTX 4080 Noctua Edition cooling system worked much quieter. After lowering the maximum fan speed to 70 percent, the core of the Noctua version still got a little warmer, but this inconvenience was fully compensated for by the excellent work culture. The smallest differences, which we will not hear during the match, were noticed during the third test. Unfortunately, we still don’t know the official price of the new card.
