A video clip appeared on the Twitter account of “El Partidazo de COPE”, showing how the Dutchman’s car was not often banned by angry fans, but even attacked. Bumps to the bodywork and windows, as well as lying on the hood, seemed serious and should never have happened.
Barcelona issued an official statement on the behavior of the fans. “FC Barcelona publicly condemns the acts of violence and contempt inflicted on our coach when he left the Camp Nou. The club will take security and disciplinary measures to ensure that such unfortunate events do not happen again,” it read in the club’s Twitter profile.
Even if the Duma of Catalonia did not decide to part with the coach, such behavior of the fans could make the Dutchman himself think about terminating the contract.
