Robert Lewandowski has been suspended for the second time due to a red card against Osasuna. Barcelona succeeded without him again, but the absence of the Pole was evident in their match. Despite her great advantage, she had a hard time creating and finishing situations. However, she won 1-0.
This is not surprising, especially since Getafe are defending against relegation and have suffered three defeats in a row. Barcelona played in a completely different line-up for Thursday’s Copa del Rey match with Ceuta (5-0). Only Rafinha and Sergi Roberto were in the starting line-up.
And before the starting whistle, the players presented the fans with the Spanish Super Cup, which he won on Sunday in Saudi Arabia. It is Barcelona’s first trophy under Xavi as coach, and the first since Lionel Messi’s departure from the club. In addition, captain Sergio Busquets, who played his 700th match for Barcelona in the Middle East region in the Super Cup semi-final against Betis, was also honored.
