Battlefield 2042 has been talked about since at least January of this year. At the time, the game was tentatively called Battlefield 6, and interestingly enough, leaks have already indicated that we will have to deal with the slack in the premiere even by 2022. The premiere has already been postponed, although only a month. So we will not play on October 22 as initially announced, but on November 19. Besides the information regarding the slip, unfortunately the electronics team did not provide us with specific information on the history of the open tests. Today, the so-called open beta does not have big secrets for us. We know not only its history, but also the hardware requirements. The latter has changed since the first technical tests.

Battlefiel 2042’s first technical tests took place in early August. Accordingly, we have received the minimum recommended requirements for the game. With the upcoming Open Beta on October 8-9, we have received the updated requirements. They showed that we will need slightly more powerful components to play, especially processors from AMD firmware and graphics cards (changes also mainly in the case of AMD). Anyway, see for yourself. The first table shows the current requirements, the second has been updated:

Battlefield 2042 – We’ll be playing later than expected. The reason for the postponement of the first show was given. It is quite clear…
Regarding the requirements, it is also worth knowing that you need to prepare 100 GB of free disk space (preferably an SSD) for the installation files. Finally, let us remind you that this year’s version of the game will be free of single player mode and will appear on PC as well as new and previous generation consoles. Furthermore, people who pre-purchased the title or have an EA Play subscription will play from October 6-7. The production will be available for download on October 5 at 8:00 (for PCs) or 9:00 (consoles). Everything else will play on November 19.
