Bayern did not recover. Manchester City will play in the Champions League semi-finals

In the first half of the match, the hosts posed a threat in front of the visitors’ goal several times. But each time, “Die Roten” lacked efficiency in finishing. It was close, and from the 17th minute Thomas Tuchel’s team doubled. Dayot Upamecano fouled Erling Haaland as he entered the field. Referee Clement Turpin gave the Bayern defender a red card. However, after consulting the VAR, he overturned his decision because the City striker was in an offside position.
