In 2022, D23 showed a concept sketch of King Thanos, who is set to appear at Disney’s Avengers Campus California theme park alongside a new attraction. Now, during the 2024 edition of D23, King Thanos’ final appearance and the cart fans will sit in as they watch and interact with what entertainment professionals have prepared.

The stuff in Avengers Campus is mostly inspired by the MCU and King Thanos comes from there too. This is the variant of Thanos we know from an alternate, parallel reality. In it, Thanos also won the battle against the Avengers from the movie. Avengers: EndgameIn this attraction, fans visiting the park will be able to participate in the fight against King Thanos alongside Avengers from across the multiverse. Details on how this will work have not yet been announced.

After King Thanos was announced, fans began speculating that we might also see him in… Avengers: Secret WarsBut there is no confirmation or leak on this subject. What adds to the strength of their theory is the fact that King Thanos in the comics was killed by… Doctor Doom, who was actually the Emperor who ruled the entire world. And we know that Doom will appear in the MCU as played by Robert Downey Jr.
