Director of Part Four “Glinarza from Beverly Hills” That will be Mark Molloy, who in 2022 replaces “Bad Boys for Life” creators Adil Al Arabiya and Bilal Fallah. Jerry Bruckheimer, who was responsible for the original film, serves as producer.
Detective Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) is patrolling the streets of Beverly Hills once again. He and his daughter (Taylor Page), whose life is in danger, his new partner (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), and his old companions Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton), decide to foil the evil plot. “In the process, a lot of heat is generated in the atmosphere,” reads the official description for “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F.”

Although Paramount Pictures has abandoned production of the fourth “Beverly Hills Cop” movie, the studio has decided to sell its rights to Netflix. The platform also obtained the rights to produce – if it wanted – the fifth installment of the series.
“Beverly Hills Cop” directed by Martin Brest tells the story of a talkative Detroit cop, Axel Foley, who wasn’t always a cop and occasionally ran afoul of the law as a child. Now he sets off for Beverly Hills, where his childhood friend was murdered under mysterious circumstances. Colliding into the world of wealth and glamor is a new experience for Foley, but he soon finds his way there. His unorthodox methods facilitate the investigation, but the policeman is a real nuisance to the local cops. Priest grossed $234 million in US theaters and became the highest-grossing film of the year.
After the success of “Beverly Hills Cop”, other films were made with Foley played by Murphy (in 1987 and 1994), but they were less popular and did not repeat the success of the original film. Paramount has tried several times over the past few years to revive Beverly Hills Cop, including a TV series in which Murphy was supposed to star, but that never succeeded.
