The Witcher: Blood Pedigree has been coolly received by reviewers and even raved about by viewers.
Disastrous reviews for The Witcher: Blood Pedigree
At some point, it was noticeable that Netflix started to focus a lot on the world of The Witcher. He saw a goose laying golden eggs in it and at first everything was going well for the platform managers. The series with Henry Cavill started off great, although the ratings were lower (although still far from dramatic). In addition, in the following seasons, the actor playing the main role will change and some viewers strongly confirm their dissatisfaction with this. However, this is not currently the biggest problem with Netflix.
On behalf of the platform, side productions referencing the world created by Andrzej Sapkowski also began. The most recent one is The Witcher: Blood Lineage, which was made available to subscribers as a Christmas gift on December 25th. Unfortunately, the statement that it is a wasted gift sounds too delicate in this case.
Reviews of reviewers have already given cause for concern, because they are rarely not only too strict, but also consistent with their opinions. But this is nothing compared to what viewers think. They outright slay The Witcher: Bloodline in their reviews.
Worst Netflix original series ever?
The Witcher: Bloodlines look terrible in all rating aggregators. Rotten tomatoes are probably the most common. If you look over there, we have the worst Netflix series of the year. Only the creators of Resident Evil: Remedium would be happy about that, because so far it’s been their work to clean the bottom.
And going forward, no original series in Netflix history have had such low ratings. According to critics, everything here is bad. Especially the plot and its conduct, characters, choreography and, to put it mildly, non-adherence to the basics of the Witcher universe. Bombardment review in response to the entire universe’s atmosphere and what and how does Netflix do it? For saying goodbye to Henry Cavill? Probably not, since there are quite a few positive opinions, also in social media. And if you find something, then there are few arguments, just throwing all the dissatisfied into one bag with racists and misogynists.
