The Ruhr team has officially announced the transfer of the Ivory Coast delegate. The valuable striker has signed a contract valid until June 30, 2026.

The 28-year-old striker represented Ajax last season, in which he was highly regarded. The sniper appeared in 42 matches, scored 34 goals and scored 9 assists.

For Haller, participating in Dortmund will be his second adventure with the German League. Previously, he played for Eintracht Frankfurt, where he scored 33 goals in 77 matches.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the move cost the Ivorian about 35 million euros. This makes the 28-year-old one of the club’s most expensive buyers in the Ruhr region. Only Thorgan Hazard, Erling Haaland and Julian Brandt received higher salaries.

The Ivorian faces the difficult task of replacing the aforementioned Haaland. The BVB’s biggest star moved to Manchester City this summer.
