Cameron Diaz believes couples should have separate rooms without being predictable

Actress Cameron Diaz said that married couples should have separate bedrooms and even “separate houses” if they want to be undecided, believing this type of relationship should be “normal”.

Cameron Diaz made the statement Tuesday on the “Lipstick on the Rim” podcast hosted by Molly Sims and Amy Gormley.

The 51-year-old actress, who has been married to Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden since 2015, explained that she has her room and he has his.

“And we have a room that can accommodate our relations,” he added.


Her unorthodox stance was supported by the podcast hosts, who warned that the statement would make her look worse.

“I already said it,” replied Cameron Diaz, not to be afraid of his comments. “My husband is amazing, I told him before we got married.”

Cameron Diaz and Benjy Madden welcomed their daughter Radix in January 2020.

Although the actress has kept a low profile in recent years after retiring from acting, she has publicly praised her husband on several occasions.
