The semi-final between Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev was a rematch of the 2023 match at the same stage of the tournament. The Spaniard then won comfortably 6:3, 6:3, 6:3 and finally triumphed in the London event, where he won the final after a five-set battle with Novak Djokovic.

The Russian started the match with his serve and had big problems. He had to defend a break point that Alcaraz threw out. After several balances, Medvedev finally held the pass and started the match on top. Shortly after, more mistakes by Medvedev made it easy for him to increase the score.
In the following games of this match, Alcaraz managed to advance to a break point only once, but his opponent defended himself. In turn, the Russian was unable to put his opponent against the wall neither in the second nor in the third set. The set, which had a very similar course to the previous one and therefore was quite equal, but at the same time focused on the superiority of the Spaniard, ended with his victory 6:4.

After the first game of the fourth match, it seemed that Medvedev was slowly saying goodbye to his dreams of reaching the final. At first, after playing a short advantage, he was broken by Alcaraz. In the seventh game, at 3:3, Alcaraz had a chance to break the Russian’s barrier. He made it easy for him by committing a double fault on the service. He managed to defend himself the first time, but the Spaniard did not waste the second opportunity.
