CD Projekt RED CEO Adam Kiciński has just revealed a lot of new information about the studio's upcoming games. It is worth noting that Kicinski will soon step down from this position, although he still intends to participate in the activities of the Warsaw company. Although the interview with Parkiet focused primarily on these areas, there are also some interesting facts for fans who can't wait for the release of The Witcher 4 or the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077.
CD Projekt RED CEO has just revealed a lot of new information about the studio's upcoming games. Fans of the studio will have a lot of fun in the coming years.
Cyberpunk 2077 – The terrible state of the game has brought a lot of class action lawsuits to CD Projekt RED. The studio can now breathe a sigh of relief
Let's start with “4”, which – as it turns out – is currently the studio's priority and also the most advanced project. However, having learned from the problems of Cyberpunk 2077, the creators do not want to set a release date and will do so when they become more “convinced” of it. As reported by Kiciński, the REDs team are satisfied with the success of CP77, the game's remake, as well as the reception and popularity of the DLC titled Ghost of Liberty. All this indicates that work on the next Witcher is moving in the right direction. Currently, the project is overseen by 330 developers, but as of mid-2024 there will be 400 people.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty achieved very good sales results. CD Projekt RED is already working on a new Witcher game
The CDPR CEO also admitted that Cyberpunk 2077 Orion, the next full installment of the Cyberpunk universe, is moving forward in the concept stage. We are currently hiring staff to handle the project, and its command center will be a team in Boston. By the way, let us remind you that CD Projekt RED will develop up to four games simultaneously in 2024. At the same time, The Witcher Remake and the project created by The Molasses Flood (The Witcher “Sirius”) are also being created. As if that wasn't enough, Kiciński also revealed that a partner has been found to create a live-action production in the world of Cyberpunk 2077, but did not reveal further details. As you can see, the coming years will be full of CDPR products, so fans really have something to look forward to.
