Changes at the head of Polish State Railways.  There is a new president

“On March 29, 2024, the general meeting of the Polish State Railways made changes to the Board of Directors of this company. The changes included the entire composition of the Board of Directors of PKP SA. Krzysztof Maminski – Chairman of the Board of Directors and Andrzej Olszewski, Krzysztof Golubiewski, Rafał Zgorzelski, Ireneusz Maślany – were dismissed Members of the Board of Directors. At the same time, the following persons have joined the Board of Directors of the company: Alain Beraud, who assumed the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Pawel Lesiewicz, Dariusz Grajda and Andrzej Bułczyński, who assumed the duties of members of the Board of Directors,” we read in the statement.

Who is the new president of the Justice and Development Party?

As we read in the company's announcement, Alain Beraud is a manager with many years' experience in the railway industry as well. In the past, he was President of Szybka Kolej Miejska, where he was responsible for implementing the largest investment project in the company's history, expanding the rolling stock with 21 new vehicles worth PLN 668 million. “At the same time, he has extensive experience in managing projects of strategic importance for the country, such as the construction of a liquefied natural gas terminal and underground gas storage facilities in Wierzchowice and oil and natural gas mines in Lubiatów. He also managed commercial companies in the construction industry,” the company said.
