The package includes access to all PKO BP Ekstraklasa matches and selected matches from the Premier League, LaLiga Santander, Ligue 1, PGE Ekstraliga and NBA. The price of the cheapest package remains unchanged
Canal + online aggregates content from third-party partners under one service, which is why the sports offer can be extended with the Eleven Sports & Polsat Sports Premium package for PLN 20 per month and access to UEFA Champions League matches (on Polsat Sports Premium channels), Serie A or a larger selection of LaLiga Santander, Ligue 1 Uber Eats or PGE Ekstraliga matches (on Eleven Sports channels).
Canal + also provides access to the Canal + Series and Movies package, that is, everything that the Canal + package offers, except for sports. The package price will not change and will continue to be offered at PLN 29 per month.
Cheaper with a long-term subscription
The Canal + package can also be used on long-term offers, that is, by paying in advance for several months of using the service at a better price than paying for a monthly subscription. Currently, long-term deals are available with 6-month options. After July 24th, they will be exchanged for 12-month offers.
The prices for the annual packages will be as follows: Canal + Series and Films package: PLN 19 per month (in the subscription offer, i.e. paid monthly, the package price is PLN 29 per month), Canal + package with Eleven Sports and Polsat Sport Premium offer: PLN 54 per month (5 PLN reduction per month compared to the 6-month offer). In the subscription offer (paid monthly), the package price is 69 PLN per month (and after July 24, 74 PLN per month).
You can avoid excess
All customers who use the Canal+ offer online or activate any package before 24th July will retain current prices going forward. The requirement is to maintain the continuity of the monthly subscription. Disabling a specific package and reactivating it after July 24th will result in buying at a new, higher price.
A similar proposal was made by Canal+ less than a year ago. The Canal+ package cost 45 PLN per month at that time. Those who purchased the subscription by September 5, 2022 can keep this price. At the time, the company was talking about “updating pricing for new customers.”
Currently, Canal+ does not explain the reasons for the fee increase. – The price list update is a result of the increasing local and international costs of purchasing and producing content. Increasing costs caused by inflation have a significant impact on the change in the price list – this is how Canal + spokesman Piotr Kaniewski explained the price increases for selected packages for satellite subscribers at the beginning of the year.
