Professor Aleksandar Madry, Jakub Paczucki, and Szymon Sidor – Polish scientists and AI researchers – left OpenAI (creators of the ChatGPT model). This news was reported by the information website. The Poles left OpenAI after the sudden dismissal on Friday of the company’s founders and presidents – Sam Altman and Greg Brockman.
All three have played important roles at OpenAI, the current leader in developing generative AI. Paciocchi was a director of research, and Madre is a professor at MIT who joined the company a few months ago as the head of a specific team that deals with risk assessment and risk prediction of powerful artificial intelligence systems. Sidor has been a researcher at the company for years. All three come from Poland.
Echo Richards embodies a personality that is a delightful contradiction: a humble musicaholic who never brags about her expansive knowledge of both classic and contemporary tunes. Infuriatingly modest, one would never know from a mere conversation how deeply entrenched she is in the world of music. This passion seamlessly translates into her problem-solving skills, with Echo often drawing inspiration from melodies and rhythms. A voracious reader, she dives deep into literature, using stories to influence her own hardcore writing. Her spirited advocacy for alcohol isn’t about mere indulgence, but about celebrating life’s poignant moments.
