Comedian Wahid Bousidi, whose stand-up show at the Jamel Comedy Club was revealed, died Sunday in Morocco at the age of 45, days after suffering a stroke, his correspondent at AFP said.
“Wahid Bousidi died this morning after suffering a stroke on Wednesday while staying in Morocco,” his publicist announced.
After this stroke, the artist was hospitalized and remained in a coma. He had already suffered two strokes in 2021, he told Le Courrier de l’Atlas at the time.
The actor with strong body and good looks was exposed in 2006 by comedian Jamel Debouse’s show Jamel Comedy Club. In January, he opened a new one-man show at Le République Theater in Paris, and his tour was to go across France.

In the cinema, we have seen him in many comedies, including “Case Depart”, “Newly is his mother, his mother!”, “Nikki Larson and Cupid’s Perfume” or “Superheroes in spite of him”.
His death in the middle of the show prompted many tributes.
“Wahid, I remember your kindness, your tenderness, your grace and many years of laughter,” replied Arthur, a host and comedian on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
“Wahid, we don’t know each other very well, but every time we meet I am so happy to see your smile so kind and bright,” actress Leela Bekhti said on Instagram.
