This is the second film about the fate of Adonis Creed. He is the illegitimate son of the tragically deceased Apollo Creed, Rocky's former hero, rival and then friend. One day, he'll see one of his father's fights online and he already knows: he wants to fight in the ring. He leaves his previous life and puts everything on one card.
Adonis, under the leadership of his mentor Rocky Balboa, wins the title World Champion heavy weight. However, his happiness is disturbed when Viktor Drago, the son of Ivan Drago, the man who killed his father, appears in the ring. Victor (Florian Munteanu) is as big as a mountain and has been raised by his father to be a ruthless adversary. Now, Ivan sees in himself an opportunity to settle scores from years ago and at the same time gain recognition from the authorities and his citizens (Ivan and Viktor are Russians, and it seems to them that fighting against the Americans is part of their country's fight against the West).
“Creed 2” – We reach the past
The film contains not only overwhelming boxing, although there is plenty of it, but also contemplation, dramatic breakups and comebacks, as well as asking questions about something that happened in the past.
Stallone was 71 years old when he starred in this film. Everyone can envy his appearance. Brigitte Nielsen, Stallone's wife, also appears in the film briefly. She played Ludmila Drago, Ivan's ex-wife, Viktor's mother, who abandoned him when he was an infant. The nearly two-metre-tall Florian Munteanu, who plays Drago Junior, is a German-born Romanian boxer, actor and fitness model, nicknamed “Big Nasty”.
