Who will David Harbor play in “Gran Turismo”?
The film is being prepared by Columbia Pictures and PlayStation Productions. Unlike their first collaborative project, ‘Uncharted’, ‘Gran Turismo’ won’t be just a game mod. The details of the plot are still confidential. However, we know that the film will be inspired by the true story of a young player who, thanks to “Gran Turismo”, developed his driving skills to the point where he fulfilled his dream of becoming a professional racing driver.
David Harbor will play a retired driver who teaches the young hero how to drive fast. The actor is best known for his role as Jim Hooper in the series Stranger Things. Additionally, his filmography includes, inter alia, Black Widow, Street Gods, Road to Happiness and Hellboy.
The screenplay was written by Jason Hall, with titles such as “American Cake”, “Sniper” and “Glory to the Heroes”.
