Despite higher revenues, they still incur losses in the millions. Will it be possible to restore stability?

The financial history of Lodz Airport is full of challenges. Despite increased passenger numbers and the highest ever revenue from the sale of air services in 2023, the airport is still making losses. Last year’s financial results show that despite everything, the airport recorded a net loss of about PLN 40 million. – Almost 5 million Polish zlotys more than in the previous year.

However, airport managers are not giving up hope. In 2024, they expect not only record revenues; They plan to sell 17 hectares of land belonging to the airport. The increase in the number of flights offered is expected to attract more passengers and contribute to increased profits from airport-related activities.
