A Pennsylvania man took a mask and dressed in black to resemble the character of the owner Cold to kill his neighbor with a chainsaw and knife earlier this week.
Authorities responded Monday to help a 59-year-old man who suffered “life-threatening injuries” after being struck by an “armor-piercing object,” Pennsylvania State Police said in a statement.
The victim, Edward Whitehead Jr., who lived in Carbon County, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
According to court documents, the man was attacked by his 30-year-old neighbor, Zach Russell Moyer, who went to his house “to scare him,” wearing a mask and black clothing resembling the character from the movie. Cold“, media outlet Lehigh Valley Live reported.
The suspect told officers he stabbed his neighbor in the head. The victim was “assaulted with a chainsaw,” according to court documents.
