BioWare has made us wait a long time for the first details regarding the continuation of one of their most important series. It had been developing in a strange situation for years, and plans for the project had already changed several times. We recently learned of the title change: from Dreadwolf to The Veilguard. Currently, we are waiting for the first playthrough of the game, which is approximately fifteen minutes long, and before that happens, the creators have released raw materials with the main characters.
A few days before the gameplay reveal, Dragon Age: The Veilguard received its first trailer showing the characters in the game.
Dragon Age Dreadwolf has officially become Dragon Age The Veilguard. New information about the fourth part of the game from BioWare
The rather poor Summer Games Festival was quickly forgotten – especially since another event came along. In addition to the impressive presentation of the new installment in the DOOM series, the standout promotion of this year’s Xbox Game Show was the BioWare project. However, in this case, it is difficult to talk about cheerfulness – it is a kind of panic, and perhaps the last chance to calm the mood. Of course, we will not know where we really stand until Tuesday. We haven’t received a specific release date yet, but we do know that the title will be released in the fall.
Dragon Age: Dreadwolf – The game is supposed to meet BioWare’s expectations. The premiere will likely take place later this year
The Dragon Age series has always relied heavily on party members, and The Veilguard is certainly no different. Scout Lace Harding and the now elderly Varric appear again. It can be assumed that the latter will act as an NPC. Plus there will be Inquisitor Neve, Mage Assassin Lucanis, The Veil Jumper Bellara, Ncromancer Emmrich, Gray Warden Devrin, and finally Taash, the Dragon Hunter. The whole thing has been kept in a very relaxed mood – so much so that it’s hard to believe we’re dealing with a cult franchise. Judge for yourself:
