Elon Musk optimized Twitter’s previous platform, Platform X, and spread false statements

Elon Musk took advantage of the fact that there is currently a heated debate about the situation in the Middle East, and published an infographic that has been circulating on the Internet for a long time. It shows the alleged location of US military bases around Iran.

The slogan on the chart says: “Iran wants war – look how close it is to the military bases in your country.”

It turned out that the post published by Elon Musk was completely incorrect, which his own platform did not fail to point out. The post he made has been categorized as misleading. This message was shown to people watching the eccentric billionaire businessman.

The warning published by the platform under Elon Musk’s post stated: “There are no American military bases in Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, or Pakistan. Even American bases in the Middle East are not as numerous as the post suggests.”

The entry received many comments in which netizens pointed out false information. Musk himself also commented on the whole situation, saying that the post containing the drawing was a joke, although it contained a “grain of truth.” He added in a comment below the post: “We must strive to see things from the point of view of others.”
