Elon Musk’s daughter changes name to end relationship with him

According to documents seen by AFP on Tuesday, Elon Musk’s daughter has filed a formal request to change her surname with her gender in order to sever all ties with her father.

“I no longer live with my biological father and no longer want to communicate with him in any way,” the young woman explained in a request filed the day after her 18th birthday.

Xavier was born Alexander Musk, who is also known as Vivian Jenna Wilson, so his name matches his gender.

She wants to take the maiden name of her mother, who divorced Elon Musk in 2008.

The lawsuit was filed in April in a court in Santa Monica, California, but was reported by several US media outlets this weekend.

The world’s richest man had eight children in total: six with Justin Musk (you’s Wilson) in the 2000s, one of whom died within weeks of birth, and more recently with two musicians, Crimes.

Tesla and the SpaceX boss, in the process of acquiring Twitter, have written posts on social networking sites in the past, demanding that transgender or non-binary people be identified by specific nicknames, including this tweet from December 2020: “I totally support trans people, but these nicknames are all aesthetic dreams”.
