Rising energy prices make the cost of driving 100 km by electric the same as that for owners internal combustion cars – According to the report of the autobaza.pl website, which was published on Monday.
The authors of the report pointed out that the conflict outside the eastern borders is not felt by car owners alone Gasoline and diesel fuelbut also electric cars that cost more than 100 km to drive conventional cars.
It should be noted that in the last 30 days an increase in the prices of 95 Pb by 7% can be observed. Which means they are back to the record prices for June. However – as the post’s authors note – Electric car owners will face a real shockwho charge their cars mainly outside the home, for example on the road.
– One of the leading manufacturers in terms of the number of chargers in Poland has significantly increased prices. In the new price list, the cost of 1 kWh of fast charging increased by almost 20%, which means, with a car consumption of 15-17 kWh per 100 km, driving an electric car is as expensive as driving an internal combustion car – The expert quotes autobaza.pl in the indicated information.
He indicated that if someone plans to invest in an electrician to save money, he may want to postpone this decision, because there is no guarantee that electricity will be cheaper than gasoline in the future.
According to Gąsiorowski, the increase in prices at charging stations of other operators is a matter of time, which means that the cost of 100 km on the route of an electric car will be equal to the cost of a combustion car. He pointed out that this will significantly reduce the attractiveness of electric cars, especially after exceeding the 2000 kWh limit at the old prices set for 2023.
The report added that, for example, in Romania, energy consumers experienced threefold increases in energy prices.
The study authors note that car manufacturers also have problems, which is reflected in the data on the registration of new cars. Referring to the data of the digitization of the Prime Minister’s Chancellery, it was written that in the first eight months of 2022, 12 percent were registered. The number of new passenger cars is lower than in the corresponding period last year. A decrease of 17% can also be seen in the used car registration statistics.
– Because there are no new cars on the market, consumers cannot replace existing models. For this reason, they use their cars longer and fewer go to the secondary market, which means an increase in prices for used cars – explained the expert of the autobaza.pl site.
He added that inflation, high loan installments and the high cost of living are factors that increase this phenomenon. – This situation does not encourage courageous shopping. It’s better to invest in repairing and driving the car for two more years – in short.

This passion seamlessly translates into her problem-solving skills, with Echo often drawing inspiration from melodies and rhythms. A voracious reader, she dives deep into literature, using stories to influence her own hardcore writing. Her spirited advocacy for alcohol isn’t about mere indulgence, but about celebrating life’s poignant moments.
