In the agreement, the Union undertakes to provide Ukraine and its people with the necessary political, financial, economic, humanitarian, military and diplomatic support for as long a period and as intensely as necessary.

Such agreements, in accordance with the provisions of the NATO summit hosted by Vilnius last year, constitute a guarantee of Western allies’ support for Ukraine. The United States and Japan also signed agreements with Kiev in June. 17 countries have already done so, including some European Union countries.
During the summit, bilateral agreements with Zelensky were also signed by Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda and Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas.
