Konrad Petocki has been associated with the club from Bełchatów for over twenty years. He was a director, then vice-president, and since 2007 he has been president of the club. PGE Skra has become a leading Polish club – in the 21st century it has won nine Polish championship titles (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2014, 2018), seven Polish Cups and four Super Cups. She also achieved success in the international arena – silver and three bronze medals in the CEV Champions League and two silver and bronze medals in KMŚ.

Marcin Modonik (born in 1985) played for the PGE Skra team in 2008-12 and won 3 Polish championship titles with this team. Marius and Lazy (born 1983) is the greatest club legend from Bełchatów, where he won the Polish championship nine times. In 2020, after seventeen years playing in Bełchatów, he unexpectedly changed club colors and moved to Trefl Gdańsk.
